🟥 You Have Chosen Flexibility!
Finalize Your WordPress FSE Template 2025 with WPDistrib
By choosing flexibility, you’ve opted for a fully customizable website. While your page already reflects the basic structure of the template, some adjustments are still necessary to ensure it perfectly meets your expectations.
By choosing the red pill 🟥, you’ve decided to customize your headers and footers yourself, while adjusting global settings to harmonize the colors and styles of your site. This choice allows you to go further and create a customized design.

★
Header and Footer
Customize these elements individually for each page. Decide whether to display a header, footer, both, or none. Adapt their content to align perfectly with your project.
★
Colors and Global Styles
Adapt the colors, fonts, and styles of your site to ensure visual consistency. This allows you to resolve differences in design, such as buttons or background styles, across various sections.
★
Visual and Textual Content
Replace default images and text to reflect your identity and communicate your messages. These changes are essential to make your site unique and aligned with your goals.
★
Blocks and Section Organization
Reorganize your page blocks: move, delete, or add new ones. To save time, use a library of ready-to-use compositions. These predefined sections allow you to quickly and easily complete your design while staying aligned with your vision.
Why Was Your Template Not Identical?
The page templates 📚 you imported come from Spectra, an extension integrated into WPDistrib. Spectra provides a library of pre-designed templates, both free and premium, tailored for beginners.
However, these templates are designed to work with a specific theme not included in WPDistrib. This is because the theme is not compatible with FSE (Full Site Editing) technology. WPDistrib prioritizes the native WordPress theme, which is modern, flexible, and better suited for advanced customization.
💡 Did You Know? FSE (Full Site Editing) themes, like WordPress’s native 2025 theme, let you customize every part of your site directly in the editor (headers, footers, page templates). Their flexibility and compatibility with WordPress’s latest features make them a powerful solution to meet your needs.
Solution: Adjust Your Site with the Native WordPress Theme
1. Change the Page Template
Go to the specific page, then replace Template: Page with Template: Page + Header + Footer. Preview the page to see the header and footer appear.
2. Edit the Header and Footer
Navigate to Appearance > Editor, open the Page + Header + Footer template, and customize the header and footer sections.
Use the composition library to drag and drop pre-designed headers or footers and adapt them. You can also directly edit blocks (text, images, menus) using Gutenberg.
3. Adjust Global Styles
In Appearance > Editor, harmonize colors, font sizes, and styles to ensure a cohesive presentation across your site.
Your Turn!
You’ve chosen flexibility 🟥, and now it’s time to customize your site. Adjust the templates, create unique headers and footers, and tweak global settings.
